Fields, Voids, and Translations: Works on Paper and Textiles. Known for her

contemplative, hand-cut paper and textile works exploring labor, light, and

form, Piper will offer insights into her intricate process during an intimate studio

tour—part of a larger visit to a dynamic creative space. The trip continues with

a guided tour of the Baltimore Museum of Art’s newly reinstalled contemporary

collection and the powerful Black Earth Rising exhibition. Enjoy lunch at

Gertrude’s Chesapeake Kitchen for a delicious midday meal. An inspiring day
