Materials List

Paint-Make sure you have these Gamblin colors (available at Ben Franklin, Easton, and online)

 One 36 mL tube

     -Cadmium Yellow Light 

     -Napthol Red

     -Ultramarine Blue

     -Chromatic Black

 One 150 mL tube

     -Titanium Zinc White

Medium-None needed.

Brushes-Bring whatever oil painting brushes you have. Hopefully a medium sized flat like Robert Simmons Signet hog bristle series 40F flat. Size 6.

Painting Knives-Paintings knives (aka palette knives) shaped like a trowel, one or a variety. I like Creative Mark brand #-25.

Palette-Whatever you have. Paper palette is fine.

Panels-4 to 6 small inexpensive panels. Size 8x10. Or a canvas paper pad.

How to carry wet paintings-Empty pizza boxes or Guerilla Painter Handy Porter available online. 

Brush washer-or tank with a white cover. Silicoil, or a glass jar with lid that seals tight. 

Minerals Spirits-ODORLESS Turpenoid or Gamsol. Do not bring any mineral spirits with an odor!

Paper Towels (Viva brand), Notebook, Pen, Camera, Bag Lunch and Beverage. Coffee will be provided.

Reference photos of simple landscapes, or bring still life objects

Also Bring...an open mind, your creative spirit, and your sense of wonder. There is no pressure! Be ready to relax, get in touch with the painter inside you, think good thoughts, and have a lot of fun!
