Drawing Workshop: Drawing with Graphite
Two-Day Workshop: Saturday, April 18–Sunday, April 19, 2026, 10:30 AM–3:30 PM Instructor: Naomi Clark-TurnerThis class is ideal for students with some basic drawing skills, who are interested in learning the unique attributes of graphite in drawing, whether it be still-life, landscapes or portraits. Information will be shared on how to use graphite as a medium and the range of effects that can be achieved by using different forms of graphite (pencils, powder, water-soluble) along with tools and techniques to create three-dimensional drawings on paper. Students will also learn simple methods used to create portraits using graphite.

*Plus $5 materials fee paid to the instructor at the beginning of class
