Teddy Johnson: Navigating Change in Landscape Painting
Two-day Workshop: April 25 & 26, 11am - 3:30pm

This workshop explores strategies for painting a world in flux. When painting from home the interior is easier to control, while the exterior view changes constantly. Sunlight, changing weather, parking cars, construction crews, and "people being people" can change a landscape significantly over the course of just a few hours. While challenging to deal with, these shifting elements are at the heart of what makes working from the landscape so rewarding. In this two-day workshop, we will explore techniques for painting a world that is constantly in motion.
