Painting Class: Experiential Color II
Four-week Class: Tuesdays, Oct 27th, Nov 3rd, 10th and 17th, 1:00PM–4:00PM

Have you struggled with color harmonies or mixing mud? Let’s figure things out by experimenting, rather than relying on color theory. In this class we’ll look at color notes and relationships, and learn how to orchestrate our paintings so that our colors work together. Participants are invited to work in pastel or oil from a still life set up each week. All levels are welcome.

Bio: Diane Rappisi is known for her color and figure work. She trained at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia, and is a Master Circle member in the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and the Maryland Pastel Society, and an elected member of the Oil Painters of America and the Salmagundi Club in New York. She has won numerous award and presented demonstrations and workshops at various arts organizations across the US, Australia and New Zealand. Diane runs a studio gallery in Chestertown, MD.
