In this hands-on workshop, Walter McConnell will lead a demonstration on the slip-casting processes utilized in his work on view in the exhibition, “More Clay: The Power of Repetition.” Participants will then have the opportunity to work experimentally with colored porcelain slips and transfer techniques on cast and assembled objects derived from simple plaster molds. A variety of plaster molds will be provided, and participants are also welcome to supply their own molds if available. Space is very limited, so please register today!
