This is an introduction to relief printmaking using Linocut or foam printing plates. Taking inspiration from reference images and printmaking examples, designs can be simple, graphic, detailed or subtle; colors can be patterned or layered. Bring your own drawings or images or create one in class. We will trace or draw our images onto plates before carving or impressing and working with color inks, to create small editions. 

Bring an apron or wear clothes that are okay to get ink on.
