Introduction to Drawing

One Day Class: Thursday July 23rd, 10:00AM-3:00PM

Student Age: Grades 9 through 12 are welcome.

Are your teenagers looking for something to do during summer break? This one-day class offers foundational drawing skills, including learning basic skills – line, value, perspective etc., helping students to move from creating simple line drawings to producing more complex and realistic artwork.  The class will explore the range of effects obtained using graphite pencils and will also introduce alternative methods of sketching with ink pen. The instructor will provide demonstrations on how to improve their drawing skills along with tailored tuition to each of the students. Children from Grades 9 through 12 are welcome.

Cost: $100 (Members) / $120 (Non-Members) 

Supplies: Please bring a pad of drawing paper (9x12” minimum)

Size: Minimum 5 students, maximum of 12

Level: Beginner course - no experience necessary!
